Violet's First Christmas

This is our Christmas tree.  Violet has already collected at least 4 ornaments.  Grandma and Grandpa Fritz's tradition is to give every family member a Hallmark ornament each Thanksgiving.  They started the "Up" ornament series for her this year.  They are also giving her an ornament from their Mary's Angel collection each year.
We also started the 12 Days of Christmas series for her and Geena.  This happened to be the first year, so it worked out perfectly!
This is the collection that started the tradition.  The tree was Great Great Grandma Violet's and she collected the Frosty and Friends series.  Grandma and Grandpa Fritz have continued the collection and have almost all of the 32 (and counting) ornaments in the series.
This is another tree at G & G Fritz's house.  They love to collect antique ornaments and this tree is FULL of them.
We celebrated Christmas with the Fritz family on the 24th.  We try to only exchange gifts that are second hand, which means gift buying begins in the spring with the start of garage sale season.  I love the dress and coat they found for Violet!
This is an antique bunny that I'm going to put in Violet's room.
Violet was mostly awake on Christmas morning : )
She and Judah coordinated their jammies.

We celebrated Christmas in Springfield on the 25th.  Violet slept through all of the presents, but we had a lot of fun opening them.
Here she is with a few of her new friends!  The 3 piggy banks are from Aunt Allison and they are labeled, "spend," "save," and "give."  The blue doll is her first Cabbage Patch and his name is Trent Ronald.  Grandma Baker found the baby doll at a garage sale in KC when she was there for Violet's birth.  Grandma Baker has a special baby doll from her grandma when she was little and she wanted Violet to have the same.

Violet loves falling asleep with the seahorse from her birth mommy.
