7 Weeks of Violet

We went to the doctor today and found out that Violet is up to 11 pounds, 1 ounce!  She's 22 inches long and is in the 50th percentile for height and weight.  Her head circumference is 15 1/2 inches, which puts her in the 75th percentile!  The doctor even referred to her as a "fat" baby (in a good way).

She had her first round of immunizations today as well.  One had to be administered orally.  We tried to tell the nurse that she doesn't like medicine and that we had to trick her into taking her antacid meds by giving her a bottle at the same time.  The nurse was determined to get her to take it without the bottle, but Violet was more determined to spit it out.  She ended up projectile vomiting all over herself and David.  It was quite a mess, but it didn't hurt her and she's totally fine.  We have one determined little lady on our hands!
